Top 5 Tips for a great stay on your next business trip

Pro tip: Booking with your TMC should be a no-brainer! 

  1. Check your travel policy, now check it again. You want your travellers to feel safe on the road, so why not add a note in your policy to state that employees must stay at a COVID-19 Clean hotel.
  2. Stay up to speed on the rules. Thanks to our COVID-19 travel map powered by Sherpa, you can look ahead and make sure you’re not sending your traveller somewhere unsafe.
  3. Know your hotels. We do this for you but it’s important to understand what your hotel providers are doing in terms of cleaning and hygiene practices. From Hilton ‘CleanStay’ to Marriot’s ‘Commitment to Clean’, hotels are setting the bar high for cleaning standards in a post COVID world. Find out more here.
  4. Be prepared. Many airlines and airports will turn away customers who are not wearing a mask, aren’t vaccinated or haven’t gotten the correct pre-departure test. When in doubt, ask us. ( Sherpa is pretty helpful too!)
  5. Ask for feedback. Check-in on your travellers post-trip to find out what they’re thinking. Were they comfortable with the accommodation choice? Did they see anything that would be cause for concern? Our Travel Managers will also do the same so that we can keep up to date with real-life feedback.
